“It's not always a guarantee that a photographer will be as comfortable writing, but I was really impressed by Nick's words.”

— Olivia Squire, Editor, Conde Nast Traveller

Forty Minutes a Gaucho - An editorial story and photographic series for Estancia Nibepo Aike, a century-old working ranch in Argentina’s Los Glaciares National Park.

Photography / Writing / Editorial

Commissioned to portray guest life on the estancia, the piece pairs long-form writing with first-person photography. Images shot from horseback put the reader directly in the saddle, while the contrast of working gaucho culture against the estancia’s refined interiors show that heritage and quiet luxury coexist here. Culinary vignettes highlight chef-prepared, farm-to-table dining that anchors the property’s ecological credentials.

Photographer Gilbert Hage’s enduring series of large-scale personal photobooks.

Established in Lebanon in 2007, Underexposed Books has been consistently publishing co-founder and photographer Gilbert Hage’s acclaimed photo series in the form of large-scale softback publications.
Each new edition is designed with its own block-colour Pantone cover and a bold title, set in a bespoke typeface created from an old letterblock alphabet that I letterpress-printed, scanned and digitised. With minimal text throughout, the images make full use of the 60 x 47cm spreads for an immersive look through each photo series.

I create visual and written stories that help brands communicate what makes a place, property or experience distinctive.

I combine senior agency experience at Ogilvy and Wunderman with an MA in Photojournalism and Documentary Photography.

This background enables me to tell credible stories that land with audiences, while supporting wider brand goals.

My work spans photography, editorial storytelling and creative consultancy, depending on the needs of your project.

Clients have included Land Rover,VisitEngland, Eurostar and Incredible India. Alongside editorial commissions for SUITCASE, The Times, JRNY and Geographical Magazine.

I am the founder and editor of Far From, a slow travel publication with an engaged readership. Publishing selected commercial commissions—giving brands the opportunity to connect with an audience that values depth, through credible, considered storytelling.
