What if culture was nature all along?
An experimental publication that combines my Zen practice with my photography practice.
While walking one afternoon at the JOYA artists residency in Spain, I sometimes found myself unable to distinguish between sculptures made by artists and naturally occurring phenomena. Since I received stimulation from both, I began to question why I should make such distinctions. These photographs are a record of a temporary shift in my perception of the ‘natural’ and the ‘cultural’–a duality that could be said to be at the heart of our current environmental dilemma.
